I absolutely love the old Hollywood style, it’s a timeless look which never goes out of fashion. And as Christmas and New Years is approaching this could be the prefect look for you. The look is all about the hair, those gorgeous waves with the classic side parting.
Or if you prefer, you can put you waves up in to a little glamorous up-do.
Why not give your old glamour look a modern edge with some some diamond ear cuffs. These are my favorite at the moment, Double Curve Stone Ear Cuffs, from Topshop.
For the complete look wear some dramatic fake eyelashes, and some red lipstick. Now your ready for the lights, camera and action!
When it comes to make-up i wish I didn’t buy, this products come on top. It is ‘You Rebel’ by Benefit Cosmetics, a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 protection. It comes in two shades, You Rebel’ which is the darker shade, and the lighter option ‘You Rebel Lite’. I’m only going to comment on ‘You Rebel’ as I have not tried the ‘You Rebel Lite’
It comes in this red tube and there is a decent amount of product, I think so anyway. And you apply by taking a small amount and blending it in to the skin with a foundation brush.
It blends in fine and does give you a sort of tan look. But I hate the feel of it on my skin, it has a very strong chemical feel, and all i wanted to do is just itch my face. The next day I had a breakout all across my cheeks, I have never reacted so badly to a products before.
If you have acne and sensitive like me, use this product with caution! There is even a warning on the ingredients to stop using if any signs of any irritation and rash occurs. I wish I gave this more attention when I bought it.
well, there you go my fellow acne/sensitive skin sufferers, I have gone through the pain so you don’t have to.
This post is entirely dedicated to the awesomness that is Almond Oil.
I started using this few months back for my skin after a friend suggested I try it and I have had amazing results. I was going to buy it, but then decided to just steal my dad’s bottle! Who knew my dad was hiding skincare secrets from me.
Almond oil has many skin benefits, it is very rich in Vitamin E which is like gold for the skin. It is also acts as a really good sun protector, so no wrinkles. If that’s not a reason to put this awesome thing on your face what is?? lol It is also super cheap to buy, and you can buy smaller bottles to carry around with you to keep applying for those really dry areas.
The main reasons I use it is because it is great for my acne and sensitive skin. I have no reactions to this, it’s completely natural. I mainly use it a night before I go to bed, this is the perfect time as I have just washed off all my make-up so this will calm my skin down. I jut put a small amount in the palm of my hands and rub it in my face.
It also is suppose to improve scars and skin complexion. I have noticed small improvements in my skin, but I think that’s because I have only been using it or a few months. So might do another post few months down the line to see if there are more noticeable improvements.
Definitely give this product a try, it will make a big difference to you skin.
when I was about 18, I developed very bad acne and it left the worst scars on my face. Over the years I have tried so many different products to give me full coverage, and most importantly a product that won’t make my acne worse. I couldn’t find anything until I came along this beauty!
t comes in this tiny pot, and I thought it won’t last me a long time. But it actually goes a long way as it is a very thick concealer, so you don’t need a lot on your brush. The results are amazing! it covers all my acne scars, redness and helps with my uneven skin tone. And most importantly it doesn’t irritate my skin, a lot of make up irritates my skin, so finding something that doesn’t is just heaven!! 😀
I will use this all over my skin, and just use Mac Mineral Powder over to set it, and that’s it! amazing clear skin!
I will never go back to my other concealer, and it would take a lot for me to convert to another product 🙂 I will be posting more about the different products I find are great for acne/sensitive skin.
